Delivery & Returns Information
PLEASE NOTE: Large engines and other large or heavy items are collection only from our Axminster, Devon showroom.
We endeavour to deliver most items to UK mainland addresses free of charge - (EXCLUDING Some larger engines and heavier items - Please call us for delivery prices for these items) Free delivery does not apply to Scotland,Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, IOM and IOW and Channel Islands. For these regions, please call or email us for delivery prices: firstname.lastname@example.org - 01297 631314. We will also be able to provide a delivery time estimate. You can put through your order on the website as usual, but please be aware that we will be in contact with a delivery quote prior to dispatch.
Dispatch estimates given in working days can be found on each product page. Orders placed after 5pm on Fridays will not be processed until the next working day (usually the Monday, unless there is a bank holiday).
Once your order has been dispatched we will send you an email containing tracking information which can be used to check the status of your delivery.
All deliveries are sent out Monday to Friday and couriers used will depend on package size. Currently we’re using various carriers, and Royal Mail.
Some of our couriers allow Saturday delivery, which we can organise for you at an additional charge. For more information and to receive a quote for this service, just email email@example.com. Please note that although all efforts are made to ensure this service is successfully completed we do not have access to contact any of our couriers on a Saturday.

If you are contracting with us as a consumer online or by phone, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day on which you receive your goods. All returns are at the customers expense. You must inform us of the cancellation of the contract in writing, acceptable by email or letter. Once the returnable goods are received by us, we will refund your payment within 3 days. Any item returned after the stipulated 7 days, should we accept the item as a return, we reserve the right to levy a restocking charge of 20%. Any items purchased and dispatched by us will be covered by insurance held by us as supplier. Any goods being returned are the responsibility of the sender and precautions must be taken to safeguard the returned goods: i.e., proof of postage of the items.
(Delivery costs will not be refunded if the returned goods are deemed to be damaged or destroyed or are in an unsalable condition. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession. Any goods returned to us, which are soiled, damaged or used, will not be refunded.) Any Parts which packages have been opened - are non refundable.
Before any petrol machine leaves our premises we remove it from the box and get it up and running. This significantly reduces the chance of you having any concerns once you receive your order.
We ask that, if possible, you check your goods when you receive them from the courier and mark on the delivery note if there is any damage. If you don’t have time to check, write ‘order not checked’. Warranty / Guarantees
All NEW products purchased from Rob Perry Marine come with a full manufacturer's warranty, the length of which will be stated in the product description on our website. Specific manufacturer’s requirements highlighting exclusions to warranty coverage will be stated within the owner’s handbook.
Individual Manufacturers offer varying warranty periods. These warranty periods will be the responsibility of the manufacture of each individual item purchased.
Please ensure you keep your original proof of purchase or a copy of it in a safe place. It might be necessary to produce this in the case of any claim against warranty.
Items returned to Rob Perry Marine Ltd for repair will be worked on by industry trained and qualified members of staff. If we find that a piece of machinery returned to us is faulty due to user error or inappropriate treatment and does not qualify as a claim against warranty, we will contact you to discuss the best way forward and any costs you are responsible for.
